The U8 program of Clinton offers an exciting atmosphere for players of all skill levels to learn the game of soccer, develop their skills, and most importantly have fun!

When
Spring season is April through beginning of June and has 7 games.
Fall season is end of August through mid October and has 7 games.
Where
Practices are held at Tate Park (Clinton). The U8 field is located between the playground and the river.
Practices
Teams practice 1 time per week for 60 minutes each.
Individual coaches will determine the practice days and times.
Games
Games are played on Saturday mornings at Tate Park (Clinton).
There are two, 20 minute halves.
Equipment
Players will be provided with a soccer ball at each practice.
League Rules
- Size 3 ball
- 6 vs 6 (with goalie)
- Two 20-minute halves
- No heading allowed
- Unlimited substitutions
Uniforms
Team jerseys are provided.
Shin guards and soccer socks are to be worn during practices and games.
Cleats are highly recommended.
Not Allowed
- Jewelry
- Earrings (not allowed under any circumstances)
- Hats with a brim
