U4 - 3-4 Years Old (Pre-K)
The U4 program is designed for children who:
(a) are 3 or 4 years old by:
April 15th for Spring season
September 1st for Fall
(b) in Pre-K
(c) have never played soccer
*If your player is 4 years old, and is actively engaged in practices and games, registering them for U6 is recommended
The U4 program aims to introduce the game of soccer to young children, teaching the rules and focusing on having fun getting to learn the sport.

When
Spring season is May through beginning of June.
Fall season is September through beginning of October.
Each season is four weeks long for a total of four practices and four games.
Where
Practices and games are held at Tate Park (Clinton).
The U4 field is located near the front of the park on the right side when entering.

Practices
Teams practice once per week for 30 minutes.
Individual coaches will determine the practice days and times.
Games
The U4 program plays a total of four games per season.
Games are played on Saturday mornings at Tate Park (Clinton).
For the Spring season, there will be no U4 games played on Memorial Weekend.
For the Fall season, there will be no U4 games played on Fall Festival Weekend.
Jerseys
Team jerseys are provided and included within the registration cost.
League Rules
- Size 3 ball
- All players may play at once (no goalie)
- Two 7-minute halves with a 5 minute halftime
- If a ball goes out of bounds, a coach will roll the ball back in
- After a goal has been scored, a coach will roll the ball back in to continue play
Equipment
Players will be provided with a soccer ball at each practice.
Shin guards are not mandatory but recommended.
Cleats or comfortable shoes to run in, such as tennis shoes.
