U10 - Birth Years 2016-2017

The U10 program of Clinton works to create an exciting atmosphere for players of all skill levels to learn the game of soccer, develop their skills, and most importantly have fun!

Spring season is April through May and has 6 games.

Fall season is September through October and has 6-7 games.

Practices are held at Tate Park (Clinton). The U10 field is located on the West side of the park before the baseball diamonds.

Games are played on Saturday mornings in Clinton, Adrian, Blissfield, Dundee, Ida, Onsted, and Tecumseh.

Teams practice 2 times per week for 60 minutes each.

Individual coaches will determine the practice days and times.

We request that all players show up at least 30 minutes before game time.

Players will be provided with a soccer ball at each practice. Goalkeepers will also have gloves and GK uniforms provided by the league.

• Size 4 ball
• 9 vs 9 (8 field players, 1 goalie) or 7v7 (6 field players, 1 goalie) depending on the roster sizes.
• Two 20 minute halves
• Offsides enforced
• Penalty kicks awarded
• No heading allowed
• Unlimited substitutions

Team jerseys are provided.

Shin guards and soccer socks are to be worn during practices and games.

Cleats are highly recommended.
